Insect Shield Crew Sock

I haven't worn them enough to be sure but I think one of thosevicious NYC flies bit right through the sock. Not the socks it's the type of fly.

Update from last year. These socks don't last as long as their Insect Shield protection does. I bought two pairs of these last year and they all had holes in the toes before the summer was over (used for a 2-mile dog walk every day). I found some slightly heavier permethrin treated socks 'Farm to Feet' that hold up better. But I'm buying more of these this year because they're lighter so more tolerable in 90 degree summer weather. My pants and shirt are still in perfect shape after 1 1/2 years. And I wear them in cold weather too just with long underwear and layers -- turns out the ticks become active whenever the temperature is above freezing even in winter. I suppose I could still give the socks 5 stars just not 6 But I'll give them 4 and hope you could reinforce toe and heel better.

Does its job perfectly. Easy to tuck my insect-shield pants into it for extra tick prevention. Elastic is just right. Doesn't dry as fast as the lightweight insect-shield pants and shirt I got from you but I suppose that's natural for a sock that will be comfortable in hiking shoes as well as sandals etc. I haven't had a tick on me since I started to wear your insect shield clothing. Had lots before including some that tested positive for Lyme disease. Thank you
