The styling and fabric are first rate. My only complaint is that there are too many pockets. Providing access to them adds to the bulk of the legs.
These are my go to shorts. I ware them all summer long love the pocket layout. The nylon that the shorts are made of ware like iron and look sharp. Only suggestion I could make is to reinforce the front pockets for knife or flashlight carry with a clip that being said I have never worn a whole in mine and I have several shorts that are two or more years old and still look like new. If you could make a pair of pants with the same pocket lay out I would have a closet full of them also. Bottom line I love these shorts Railders Rock
My favorite shorts. I like the look/style and they are very comfortable with the flexible waist. The fabric is good about not wrinkling and it has some body to it without being heavy at all.
Bone Flats Short are far and away my favorite shorts - no contest. I especially like the cell phone pocket on the left side. It provides easy access and is secure. The fabric is very forgiving in that it does not stain easily - in fact liquids tend to roll off without absorbing. There are plenty of additional functional pockets. Again - my favorite shorts
Best shorts Ive ever worn durable stylish and comfortable. Be it in the African bush mountain trails or out for dinner. I own 5 pairs
First pair of the Bone Flat Shorts 2.0 and very comfortable with plenty of pockets and versatility. My only complaint is the supplied belt that won't hold up the shorts if you have more than a paperclip in the pockets. The good news is the belt loops are wide enough to use a substantial belt which allows any activities you choose without fear of the shorts falling down.
These are great. I keep finding new pockets. I purchased in Mariner Blue the color of the product received doesn't match the rich blue displayed in the catalog (which was my first attraction) nevertheless the color comes close. This is the reason I rated at 4 stars rather than 5. I highly recommend.

These are the best shorts Ive ever owned. I think I have 9 or 10 pairs. Im pretty hard on clothes so Ive got about 6 pristine pairs and the others I do boat work fish and scramble in. Lotsa pockets one for the phone and zippers No other company comes close. RailRiders. Duane D
Still my go-to short. Not having the velcro closure on the cell phone pocket took some getting used to but I did not notice my iPhone falling out of the new design pockets. For me this short represents the best combination for my carrying needs along with the security needed while traveling. The back zippered pockets are becoming a "must-have" for travel.
