If you have ever been to Surfside on Nantucket, you already understand. Nantucket is an island off the coast of Cape Cod that posesses decades of whaling history dating back to the 1600’s. Today it is an island of dreams, gorgeous seaside towns and villages, and beaches that take your breath away. It was here that the Surfside Pants and Shorts (see shorts) were born and made from our new technical Linen like fabric. We are excited about this! Made from a lightweight hemp polyester blend that boast strength, quick dry, non-wrinkling and of course, sustainability. When you don either of these, you would swear you are wearing summer linen and remarkably the fabric does not wrinkle. Fancy that folks! So, whether your dining at the galley, hanging out at Cisco Brewery, or strolling an empty beach at sunset, these shorts and pants fit right in.
The material of these pants is a perfect travel choice -- it can be dressed up or down resistant to wrinkles and lightweight for summer temperatures. I've now re-ordered for my husband He only wishes you had a with-pleats option...
I'd purchased the "white" version of the pants maybe a year or so ago and quite liked them so I opted to also purchase the "tan" and navy blue. They look very much like linen -- as advertised. They pack up quite well for traveling. I'm sure I'll be using them on future warm weather trips.
I wore these pants to a reunion on a day that was quite hot and sticky. The pants were light and comfortable. I have not cleaned them yet and am a little concerned haw that will go but they originally hang well and do not wrinkle as much as I expected.
Love them. Changed the way I dress in the tropics. Able to wear them dress up or down. Please get all the sizes in the blue and natural Come ON
This is the second pair of Surfside Pants I bought for my husband. He says they are very comfortable and I think he looks sharp in them. Since they have a linen look they can be dressed up with a tie and blazer or dressed casually. He wore the pants to a wedding and spilled some food on them. I pretreated the spot with OxyClean and the stain came out beautifully in the wash. No ironing is needed. Take them out of the dryer and hang immediately to prevent wrinkling.
Nice light pants. They hang nicely and have a linen-like texture without the wrikles. There is a small amount of shrinkage (less than linen) after a wash and tumble dry so if you are between sizes go up.
PS- I love the navy blue Maybe you could offer blue in some other styles of pants like the adventure khakis
The Surfside pants really do look and feel like linen as has been noted. Theyre very comfortable and they can easily be worn all day long and be fine for dinner out. I like them so much I bought another pair. I highly recommend them.
I just ordered more of these for my husband -- great pants The material lives up to the description linen appearance with easy wash and low wrinkle. They hit a happy medium between fit preferences -- my husband likes his pants crazy baggy/old man style and I like when they are more fitted. These are right in the middle we are both happy They do stretch out some upon wearing which is part of what makes this possible. Excellent for travel and dressing up or down. He will be wearing them when we go out to eat in Sonoma this weekend
The elastic waist makes for movement comfort and the feel of the fabric is linen without the creases. The drape is just right and the weigh makes them perfect for travel and summer wear. Just as the precious reviewer commented I liked the first pair so much I bought a second
