the last couple of summers I have been doing a lot of of-trail backpacking in the Sierra..which means lots of rock-hopping climbing and often sliding on one's butt. All my other trekking pants have holes everywhere but NOT THESE...they stood up to LOTS of abuse on all kinds of granite and rough terrain. Love the large side pocket-fits my compass perfectly for easy access.

Probably the best made pants I own with attention to detail like extra fabric for the seat and the knees. Fabric is quick-dry and very lightweight. Super fun pants to wear as they feel great against your skin. The dark beige is a great color that doesn't show the dirt. They are not a form-fitting pant so when it's hot they don't cling to your skin which is quite nice. Pocket for a cell phone is perfectly placed on the right leg not in the hip area which would make it very unflattering. My only feedback would be if the buttons on the waistband (for adjusting) could be covered they then won't leave a 'button imprint' on your skin after wearing. I solved that problem by tucking my shirt in which isn't a big deal. I love these pants so much I purchased three pair
These are the best outdoor pants I've ever had. I wear them almost every day when I am outside (which is most days). They are very comfortable and extremely durable. The Insect Shield works great even when I walk through the tall grass in our meadow. The cargo pocket is a perfect fit for my iPhone.
I absolutely love this pants. This is all I wear all year round. Have plenty of pockets and best of all it fits my IPhone XR with a case cover Great for traveling trips. I definitely recommend this pants.
These pants seem durable and stylish but the XS fits smaller than both the Adventure Khakis in XS the Trail Gear Pants in size 2 so I will exchange to try a larger size. Though I can get the pants on move in them to sit makes them uncomfortably tight I prefer them to fit less snugly overall. Ideally the fabric would have stretch for a better fit but at least it is non-smelly.
I just bought a pair of Weatherpants for my girlfriend after having bragged about mine for a year. Wow these pants are tough Over the last couple of years she has ripped holes and tears in more than one pair of Columbia pants while walking through thick brush. She was doubtful that pants could be lightweight and quick-drying yet still be durable. I can tell you she was blown away by the exceptional build quality and durability of these pants. She has hiked through some of the thickest thorniest brush while wearing these and has not seen one hole or perforation. She is now a believer
Love the pants. Wore them in warm weather and was concerned I would get too hot but no. They are comfortable to wear. I like that the pants are not designed to be tight. Would love the pants more if they had more pockets as you find in the men's pants.
These pants are great. They are very tough but lightweight and the insect repellent has lasted over a year.My only two gripes are that the reinforced areas are a noticeably different shade than the rest of the pant material (the picture doesn't show it accurately) and that these aren't offered in a heavier material like the mens version. These are very light weight pants
Just rec'd these today. Feels like these will be the lucky pair my upcoming section hike on the Appalachian Trail WOW nice feel Only complaint I am 5' tall and RR's don't offer petite ( off to alterations (story of my life) then I will have my perfect trail pants
