The Great Plains region is often overlooked, but it’s home to some fascinating National Parks and plenty of historic sites. Despite the images of rolling fields of grain, you’ll find gorgeous mountains, geysers, geographic formations, waterfalls, and more here. It’s the perfect region to explore by road tripping as you can hit several of these great spots along a reasonable route. Winter is a thing of beauty in the Great Plains, but you will need the proper clothes to enjoy it in all its glory. Meet our new Great Plains Field Pants, a super tough stretch moleskin fabric that is brushed to feel like butter. Clothing made from moleskin is noted for its softness and durability and feels like soft lambswool against the skin. So if your travels take to you the beauty of a Great Plains winter, make sure these pants travel with you. they want you too.
Fits great super material and I get lots of positive comments.
I bought my first pair of GPFPs nearly a year ago and promptly fell in love with them--warm in the winter months without being too warm for the late fall or early spring with just the number of pockets to be everyday or field exploration pants while soft and comfortable enough for home lounging. So when they just went on sale this month I promptly (that word again) bought a second pair
Nice pants for the winter. A little long in the legs. Returned them for shorter size.
I don't write reviews but i have to say these are the comfiest pants I've ever owned. They are lightweight super-soft and surprisingly warm. And they look great.
Great look and feel with perfect fit. Thought I would need to order 34 length to go with boots but 32 works fine. Great pockets and hardware is excellent.

I'm 5'11'" 155 lb. For most pants the best size for me is 35w 32l. Not a choice for these pants so I tried 36w 32l. They were much too generous in the waist and the seat. Return was not an option since they were on sale for a very good reduced price. So I tried washing them in hot water and drying in a medium hot drier. That reduced the waist and length and seat by a little more than an inch and the pants are quite comfortable now. The material stayed soft. I'm very satisfied.
